  How do I block search engines like google from searching my blog. I have changed my privacy level to the second option that is supposed to block search engines. Yet, you can still find my blog by searching for something it contains. I want my blog to be accessed by my friends but I don’t want to set it to private.

  If you changed it a while after setting up your blog, and Google had already indexed it, then what shows in Google searches will be there for a while. If your blog is set to private, even if someone clicks on a Google link to your blog, they will not be able to enter. They will be presented with a login page stating that the blog is private.

  They will however be able to see the cached pages at Google.
