I recently had some accounts compromised and it would appear that my blog has been as well. I’ve reset the password but all my posts are missing. Is there ANY way these can be restored as I do not have copies of the posts?

Yes there a way to recover some of the posts. I don’t know if I can post file links here. So, I’m sending an email to you live.com id with subject “blog backup” . Please see the email.

What are the exact URLs starting with http:// of the sites you refer to please?
And, exactly which wordpress.COM username account registered each site?
I’m asking because we cannot accurately answer any questions posted here until we have confirmed the URL referred to and verified the hosting. And, that is why we are all prompted to provide the relevant URL when we create a new thread.

The authors have deleted this site.If that is the site your error to or one of them our Staff cannot provide backups and we Volunteers are not allowed to do what infotagin
posted above, so what so be clear on that.You will have to use the internet archives wayback machine, https://web.archive.org/web/*/http://michelles1968.wordpress.com/ or if the material was indexed then you may find it in Google’s cache and be able to copy and paste from it.

Actually I did the same thing as you did but I wasn’t sure I can post links on this forum directly to archive and google cache pages. So, instead I sent an email to her with the data. -

Understood. :) I have been answering questions here for 10 years and here are three tips for Volunteers:
(1) do not email anyone asking for support here;
(2) do not ask anyone to change a blog privacy setting to public;
(3) do not ask to be made users of blogs of those who request support here.Best wishes.

So, yes, michelles1968.wordpress.com is me. If I understand this correctly, I cannot get actual help from WordPress but I can try using an internet archive as a way to maybe get some of my posts back. Someone was super nice to email me a few of the posts.

Hi there,
Once the site has been deleted our Staff cannot provide backup copies. You have to go to Google`s cache of indexed content and copy and paste from it. -
