Blog reset

I need to reset my blog.
I used a free theme and tried to change colors and such. Nothing crazy. I didn’t care for it and tried to switch to a different theme that I loved!
When I did this, nothing looked like it should and all the old colors were there. It was weird and messed up all around. Nothing like the theme description image in any way.
I was told I probably need to reset my blog. I don’t care about losing anything. I just need to start over.

Hello there!
There are a couple ways to do this.
My first suggestion would be to change your theme. You can pick any theme you’d like and it’ll start you off “from scratch” visually, but your content would remain accessible in your administrative dashboard.
However, if you want to empty your site and truly start all over again, you can do that. Simply follow these instructions:
Once you do that, you’d pick a new theme (or stick with the current one), and move forward from there.

It doesn’t start off from scratch. That’s my problem. I have been trying to pick a new theme and it doesn’t look anything like the theme picture at all.
So I am on here to try and get wordpress help to clear it all and start from scratch. I don’t even need anything on the blog. I just need it all cleared so I can start from scratch.

I can empty your site, if you give me permission.
However, if you want, I can also help set up your theme.
The problem is that unless you have pages and posts, you can’t make your site look like any theme, since themes are dependent on your content. You may end up facing the same issue after your empty your site and start again.
If you have a theme you love, you may be better off just letting me help you set it up.
Otherwise, I am MORE than happy to clear your content. Just give me the thumbs up, if this is what you want!

I’m good with setting up pages, I just want te actual theme that I saw. The colors were orange and red and nothing looked even close to it. I know I need to set up pages and such but I couldn’t even get the theme to work. So yes, here is my thumbs up! Go ahead and clear it all.

You’re all set! I’ve emptied out your site, and install Goran for you.
You can now start from scratch :)
While you’re building your site, until it looks the way you want, you can set it to private so nobody can view it:
en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/

It still looks absolutely nothing like the theme picture. I understand that not everything will be the same, but it looks absolutely nothing like the theme description. Is there someone I can call to try and take care of this?

Hello there!
I took a look at your site. You don’t yet have enough material saved on the site (posts, pages, images) to be able to make your site look like Goran.
Basically, themes are like a set of containers that need to be filled with content. If they are left empty, they simply collapse because they have nothing to display.
My suggestion is to start with the home page and move forward from there. Goran’s homepage needs an image and text. Once you have those created, you can start setting up your site to look like the demo.
If you’re not sure how to set up your site, I suggest going step by step through this guide:
Once you walk through that guide that I’ve linked, you’ll have the content you need to set up your site.

In Summary: The more content you have on your site, the better. Without pages, posts, and pictures, your page will not look the way you’d like.
