Blog review

I think that I’ve done about all I know to do in order to get coupleu.com rolling. But, I know there’s more that could be done. I’m wondering if I could pay someone from WordPress to review my site and make suggestions so that it’s noticed and useful? Thanks. Chris Mosemann at (email visible only to moderators and staff). The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Howdy Chris,
Your site is looking great to me! I love the look and the layout.
We don’t offer the kind of service you’re referring to at WordPress.com. However, if you’re looking for an outside consultant, you can find a few recommended consultants here (recommended by another Automattician):
Let me know if you need anything else!

Jeremey,
Thanks for the feedback. I’m a psychotherapist and I’ll be referring patients to the blog. In addition, it would be great to get a response from those outside of my office. Can you tell how I’m doing with SEO? And, what is the best way to utilize social media? Thanks!!!

Hi Chris,
WordPress.com handles SEO optimization for you. Beyond the normal optimizations like your sitemap, which you can view here:
http://coupleu.wordpress.com/sitemap.xml
We also have a Global Tagging (Topics) system that search engines love and we ping out to all the major engines every time you update your blog.

You can read more about SEO here:
Regarding social media, we have a pretty cool feature called Publicize that will push all of your new posts out to your social media channels automatically. You can read more about it here:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/publicize/
That’s going to be the best way to spread your posts across your social media channels!

Jeremey,
I connected to twitter and gooble + and now i think that i’d like those contacts to go into a new email address that would flow into (email visible only to moderators and staff). Does wordpress allow for a wordpress email address that would do this?

Hey Chris,
Are you referring to email forwarding explained here?
http://en.support.wordpress.com/email-forwarding/
In that case, a custom email address like Chris-at-coupleu.me would be forwarded to the email address you set.
Please let me know if that’s what you’re referring to!

Jeremy,
Yes. That would be perfect. Yes. Can I do that with WordPress? If I can, how do I go about it?
My blog is now connected with Twitter and Google + and I’m thinking that it might be good to keep (email visible only to moderators and staff) in the background. I want comments, etc., coming to the blogsite rather than coming directly into my e-mail.
Thanks, Chris

Hey Chris,
You should be able to setup the forwarding using the instructions here:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/email-forwarding/#managing-email-forwarding
Can you give that a try?
