  I hit enter by mistake on setting up my blog information. I wish to list my url as “somephotographynotes” and my username as “heinerphotography” . If I am unable to change this info, please delete my account right away so that I can start over. Thank you.

  Accounts are not deleted here http://en.support.wordpress.com/deleting-accounts/

  There is no username account under the name you want so you can log out of WordPress.com and by using a different email address you can register it ie. heinerphotography. The blog with the matching name will automatically be reserved for your future use.

  You must be logged in as Admin under the exact same username account in order to change the blog’s URL. Then you can use this guide http://en.support.wordpress.com/changing-blog-address/

  That option will permanently disable the address and you will not be able to reuse it. Only select this option if you are sure you will not use the address again.

  If you want to redirect traffic to the new blog, and retain and page rank the blog has or authority your have gained in the niche then you can keep the address and purchase the Site Redirect upgrade.

  Thank you for your comprehensive response. I already “deleted” my account, but the site has retained my email address and password. If I decide to go back on, as you say, I’ll need another email address. Thanks again.

  You can change your blog address and username by following the instructions here:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/changing-blog-address/

  Doing that, you can create a new blog AND username for heinerphotography and then add a second blog to that user called somephotographynotes.

  Otherwise, you will need a different email address to create a new user account.
