Blog "Share" to Linkedin Produces Error. How to fix please?

Standard manual posts to LINKEDIN Groups using the Linkedin Share Button on my blog at FixturesCloseUp.com produce an error message. I have also received messages from Groups where posts were to have appeared that they are missing, urging I resubmit.
I have rebooted. Restarted my browser, log’d out and back in to both my blog and Linkedin without resolution. Problem began in a minor way Nov 23. Worse today Nov 24. I am Mac OS 10.9 Safari 7.

Can you let me know the exact error message you receive? Also, when do you receive the error? (Is it right after you click the LinkedIn button on your blog, or after clicking the Share button?)
I was able to use the LinkedIn share button on your blog without any issues, so it’s possible that LinkedIn was experiencing issues over the weekend. However, if you can give me a little more information about this error, I’ll be able to look into it further for you! :)

Thanks for the followup. Over several days the problem has receded and I am able to post again without an ERROR message. As you say, maybe it was temporary but LINKEDIN did not have an immediate answer either so seemingly not global across their system. Please leave this Helpdesk inquiry live for a week as I test on various systems. I will post again if the problem re-surfaces. The error message itself was just that, one word, ERROR. A Progress disk spun for quite a while before the attempt to post to LINKEDIN errored out.

Also, if it does happen again, can you make a screenshot of the whole browser window with the error (both the error message and the browser’s address bar)? You can upload screenshots to your Media Library under Media > Add New in your dashboard, or you can use an online service such as Snaggy. That could help us troubleshoot the error. :) Thanks!

The error sequence has appeared again off and on. I uploaded a screenshot to the FixturesCloseUp Media Library as you suggested. It is titled … FixturesCloseUp LINKEDIN Share Error 8-22am 11-28-2013 . Can you access it? Can you display it here to see if it matches other Error Dialog Boxes users may be getting.
If you cannot access it, I can email direct. Just give me an address to send to.

Thanks for sending that screenshot. Images can’t be embedded in the support forum, but I was able to view it from your media library.
The error is indeed coming directly from LinkedIn, so it likely isn’t something we can fix on our end. I wasn’t able to reproduce the error, either. Can you try getting in touch with LinkedIn support again to see if they can look into this error on their end? If they say there’s more we can do to help with it, we’d be happy to work on it. :)
