Blog showing too many posts on the homepage

    Hi, I’m using the Columnist theme and have it set so that each page only shows four posts. I’ve had it set like this for ages, and have always had just four posts show up on my home page — which is exactly what I want. All of a sudden tonight, it’s now showing six posts on my home page even though I have double checked and it’s still set for four under
    settings–>reading. I’ve tried clearing my browser history, checking the site out on other browsers, other computers, and everything else I can think of. Any idea how to fix this? I’m concerned because I use a set four posts as essentially a static home page, so I really don’t want anything else popping up on there. Thanks so much in advance!

    Hi there,

    Are you still having the same issues with more than 4 article displaying on the home page? I ask because when I just went to your site I saw the first 4 displaying as they should.

    Let me know if this is still an issue for you and I’ll be happy to take a second look!

    Heya!

    Thanks so much for the additional information! This actually let us find a small bug in this theme which our developers are working on right now. We recently introduced the option for Infinite Scroll for this theme, and when we did it defaulted all home pages to 8 posts rather than what people had specified.

    Like I said, the developers are working on it and they will either have it fixed or some additional information for me about it soon!
