Blog shows PRIVATE on Facebook link

  I made my blog public, but when I link it to Facebook, the link shows the blog is private. But when you click on he link, you ARE taken to the blog.

  Hi there,

  Facebook caches any links which have previously been searched through their entire system. So if you site was set to private before and was entered in to Facebook, then that’s how they see it.

  You can try to have them re-search any particular link however. You just need to go to this page:

  https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug

  And enter the link you want. It will try to repull the information and hopefully you can then repost your link with the right data!

  Thank you so much! It’s working – I am ‘debugging’ all the URL’s that FB is showing PRIVATE!! Thanks for the help!
