Blog Sidebar – Filter by
-
I have WP 3.4.1 installed at GoDaddy. Have the Karma theme. If that makes any difference to this issue.
In the blog sidebar I have ‘filter by’ which gives a list of all the categories of my posts and in theory you can pick a category or subcategory and see a list of only those posts that are in the selected category.
This works fine for categories. But doesn’t for subcategories.
If I choose one of the sub categories then I get a 404 error.
For example: I have a category “resources” with sub categories “videos” and “tech tips”. When I filter by resources I get the full list of all posts in both of the sub categories, however if I select “video” then I get a 404 error.
This seems to be an issue with the slugs, as selecting “resources” drives me to an address http://www.domain.com/resources/ (success). However selecting videos drives an address of http://www.domain.com/resources/videos/ (fail). However if I delete the /resources from the address i.e. make it http://www.domain.com/videos/ then I get all the video posts.
Any ideas, anyone?
