In 2011 I started a blog site but never made any posts to it. Now, after all these years, I would like to start making posts but do not remember the ID or PW. So, of course, I can’t do anything. I can’t delete it or get into its dashboard. Any ideas how I can get access or delete the blog site so I can start all over?

Hi there, it’s likely that you need to be logged in with a different username account to the one you are currently logged in with to post here in the forums.
First log out of this account and then visit the Log In page at https://wordpress.com/log-in If you have access to the email address associated with that account, you can either reset the password by clicking on the Lost Password link there or send yourself an email with a one-time log-in link by clicking on the “Email me a login link”.
If you don’t remember the correct username or the email address and you had email notifications of new comments or feedback on your site, you could try leaving a comment or filling out a contact form on that site and then checking all your active email accounts to see where the email notification goes.
Barring that, you’ll need to recover your account following the support guide at https://en.support.wordpress.com/account-recovery/
Once you recover the account and are able to log in, you can clear any current content by emptying your site following this guide: https://en.support.wordpress.com/empty-site/ Keep in mind that deleting a WPcom site also deletes the site address.
