Blog site not working anymore

  Hi:
  My blog https://osiblogdotcom.wordpress.com/
  is not working anymore. It still points to a premium site we subscribed to
  (blog-osi.com) which I let it expire and I have made https://osiblogdotcom.wordpress.com/ as the primary site.
  please help.

  I can absolutely help you with that.

  Just to clarify, if you want to cancel your domain blog-osi.com it can take up to several weeks for our domain registrar to release the domain, and it may not choose to do so. We can’t guarantee that your domain will ever be available to you again once canceled. If you have any intention of using blog-osi.com again in the future, I suggest that you do not choose to cancel.

  Please confirm that you understand and want to cancel your domain. Once you have done so, I will cancel it and remove the upgrade from your account.

  Yes, I am certain that I want to cancel the domain blog-osi.com.
  Please go ahead and cancel this.

  When I click osiblogdotcom.wordpress.com it tries to find “blog-osi.com” and hits a dead-end. Can you help with this?

  BTW – The domain I need help with should have said ” osiblogdotcom.wordpress.com” and not “vijayosi.wordpress.com”

  Ahh, I see the issue.

  The issue is that the WordPress.com user account that you are posting from is not the owner or admin of that upgrade.

  So you must have ended up with a second WordPress.com account at some point. You will need to log into the other account in order to cancel that upgrade.

  Thanks. My colleague had registered that domain. I had him cancel it. He confirmed that it is indeed canceled.

  Hi Vijay,

  It looks like everything is up and running now. The site osiblogdotcom.wordpress.com is pulling up normally and does not have any domain attached to it. If you are still getting forwarded to a domain, it may be that your browser is caching outdated information. You can clear your cache by following the instructions right here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clear-your-cache-and-cookies
