To whom this may concern,
My name is Kalvin Nhan and the site http://www.CYHRV.org, we were mistaken in the assumption regarding the ownership of the domain name. As a non-profit organization we were wondering if there was any chance we could get a bit of the fee for reactivation reduced ?

There is no ability to waive fees set by any domain registrar of any kind based on any discriminatory factors. The domain registrars can and they do charge whatever they want to charge and we either pay it or they sell or auction the URL off to another buyer. In fact, there is a whole HUGE industry built on the fact that pêople do not seem to comprehend that the word expired means over and done and they no longer own the URL once it expires; the registrar owns it.
