Hi Folks
The Blog is very Slow… to first Open the Page, to Edit Comments, …
Can you please Check?
Thanks
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi,
The site loaded very slowly for me. I suspect it might have something to do with having over 19,000 comments in a forum that begins on the front page. I also noted the fact that all of the dozens of comments on the front page are identified as belonging to “comment page 221.”
-
It always was like this and just for the past 2 days starts to began slowly
In fact, since the changes in wordpress appearance …
To us bloggers and commenters, last changes from wordpress turn the blog heavier..
-
Thanks for that information. Well, I haven’t noticed any general change in loading speed recently on either my own site, or other WordPress.com sites which I’ve visited. You may add a “modlook” tag to the sidebar to call for staff attention.

Hi there,
You mentioned that this changed in the past 2 days. Did that only change on your blog’s front page at https://tetzner.wordpress.com/ or do other pages on the blog or on other WordPress.com sites also load slowly for you?
For example, please check these links and let me know if any of them load slowly:

Thanks for letting me know. How about those other links I mentioned? Do they also load slowly for you?

Look the Test Result from
http://tools.pingdom.com/fpt/#!/bNbDyk/https://tetzner.wordpress.com
Why it takes 3 s to open a 25 kb item ???

The issue with your blog’s front page, in particular, is linked to the number of comments on that page. It’s possible that disabling the setting for “Enable threaded (nested) comments” in your Discussion Settings would reduce the loading time for that page, and I’d be happy to test that out if you’re interested in that option.
Ultimately, though, WordPress isn’t designed to have comments used as a sort of forum like this. With nearly 20,000 comments on that page, it will load more slowly than other pages on the blog (and editing those comments will be slower as well).

if it only happens with: https://tetzner.wordpress.com
I would tend to agree with you; but doesn´t …
The same slowly it´s seem on each one of may 4 blogs
and also, in other pages with few comments and too on Administrate Painel
Try to Edit a comment, any one, takes the same 3 ou 4 seconds to open…
-
Your other blogs also have quite a few comments on the front page, which can cause the same problem. When you have a lot of comments on a page, managing or editing those comments can also take longer.
Do pages with fewer or no comments also take a long time to load? For example, these pages:
-
To open This page here to reply your comment takes the same time from the blog
this two has no comments, open fast
But Still it start recently, and if WordPress it´s slow to open a page with 10 comments… sorry but you have some problem in your servers…
-
Can you share a link to the page with 10 comments? I want to make sure I’m looking in the right place, so I can test that on my end as well.

Thanks for those links. When I test those pages on my end, they load quickly as expected. If you’re also having trouble with them, there may be a different issue going on with the connection between your computer and WordPress.com.
There are a few things to check for that:
- Is your blog always slow for you, no matter what time of day you check it? Or are there particular times when it’s slower to load?
- Please do a speed test at http://www.speedtest.net/ and share your results with me here.
- Do a ping test. You can use the steps in this guide for How to do a ping test to get started with that. In the Command Prompt window that opens, please run these two commands:
ping -c 100 tetzner.wordpress.com
ping -c 100 s1.wp.comIt will take some time for each command to finish. Once each one is done, please copy the summary information at the end, which will look something like this:
— s1.wp.com ping statistics —
341 packets transmitted, 340 packets received, 0.3% packet loss
round-trip min/avg/max/stddev = 63.161/67.356/206.378/8.501 msThat information will help me troubleshoot a connection issue for you. Please let me know if you have any questions about that!

Thank you for sharing those details. Everything in those tests looks ok, so the next thing I’d like to check are the HTTP headers when you visit the front page your site at https://tetzner.wordpress.com/ and at one of those pages with fewer comments, like this one: https://tetzner.wordpress.com/biblioteca
Please follow the steps in our Advanced Browser Troubleshooting guide to view and take screenshots of those headers:
Let me know if you have any questions!
