Blog Speed

  Hey guys. My blog is a bit slower now, but it’s to be expected since I’m about to hit 10K posts. I was wondering if there was any way to increase my blog speed without getting rid of posts or something like that. I thought of 3 possible ways, but I wasn’t sure so I thought I would see what your views on it are.

  1. reducing the amount of widgets that I have displayed

  2. Getting rid of my background

  3. Getting rid of some of the buttons (Like the tweet this or stumble type buttons)

  The blog is still fast enough, and if there’s no practical way, I have no problem with it. I just figured it couldn’t hurt to ask. Thanks for the help! :)

  Thanks a lot! The information on the site was good and I was able to increase my loading time from around 8 seconds to 4-5!
