  I’m trying to customize but the blog stats widget is not showing in the choices. Please help?

  Hi there,

  What exactly are you trying to customize?

  Your site, http://books.wanderfuljoyce.com/, is not hosted on WordPress.com, but using the open source WordPress.org software at another host.

  If you’re speaking of the Blog Stats Widget included in the Jetpack plugin, that widget doesn’t have any customization options except specifying the text you want it to show:
