Blog stats

Does the Number of page views in the blog stats indicate the actual number of hits to the blog?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

@andreasays
1. Please don’t hijack a thread for something completely unrelated.
2. Please don’t post the same thing twice (you already posted this in the Off Topic forum)
3. If you want someone to visit your blog, maybe you should leave a link, too? -
This is the third time it’s been posted. You don’t want to get reported as a spammer, do you?

I don’t want to be rude, but maybe if someone is answering the question clearly, this guy would’nt have to ask 3 time, ;) !
many users have the same question, including me, I tried to find an answer on the forum, on the web site, on the help section, nothing clear about this. If someone can answer or show me the way, I would be really gratefull ! Txs in advance ! -
No, the actual spammer’s posts have been deleted; you can’t see what we’re talking about.
In order to answer technical questions appropriately, we need a link to the blog in question, starting with http. And define “hits”. Some people mean the number of pages that have been looked at, some people mean the number of viewers, etc.

My blog stats feature on the dashboard of one of my wordpress.org blogs has suddenly reset to zero. That’s over one year’s worth of data that has vanished! What can I do about this?

Same problem here — all my stats have reset to zero and I can’t see any top posts or anything. Fix this?

Mine too! a few minutes ago? I saw them this morning, though and there was a strange string of numbers as one of the referrers? I can’t see it anymore though!
Thanks WP.
