Blog stats appear corrupted/WP app crashes
-
There appears to be a deleted post causing me some problems in my blog. When I view stats I see only stats for a couple of pages (Home, About) and all other hits are attributed to a “post” called “#214748647 (deleted) – it doesn’t matter what people click to get to my blog or what posts they view, that “post” gets the credit for the traffic.
Additionally, whenever I attempt to edit posts using the WordPress Android app I get crashes if the post is older than about 60 days (which, coincidentally is when this weird post showed up).
Anyone have any ideas? I was toying with the idea of moving my blog off of WordPress.com to my own host and can’t even export the thing properly – again, assume that this is related.
Sort of maddening.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Google clears their cache every 3 – 6 months. The more frequently you publish the more that deleted post will move down in the index. My advice is to simply wait and this is why. The URL removal tool is intended for pages that urgently need to be removed—for example, if they contain confidential data that was accidentally exposed. Using the tool for other purposes may cause problems for your site. When NOT to use the URL removal toolI can’t help with your wordpress app android issue and wonder if you can get help here > http://android.forums.wordpress.org/ If you can’t then I suggest you contact Staff.

These aren’t necessarily people hitting the blog from search engines though. I can test this myself by going directly to the blog and clicking any post, then another, then another. All 3 of those clicks will end up attributed to the same supposedly deleted post. Additionally, I’ve had only 3 pages EVER show up in my stats – home, about, and this deleted post – even when I know for a fact that other posts have had several hundred hits in a single day.

can’t even export the thing properly
What’s missing here is the URL of the blog in question. Will you please post an active link starting with http:// to the blog you are experiencing this export issue and the other issues with please?

So in a nutshell, you have problems with your stats, with the Android App and with the export feature. I took the liberty of tagging this thread for staff’s attention then.

No. I’ve tried it on multiple versions of the app on multiple devices with the same result. It’s as though there’s a corrupt deleted post somewhere in my blogs database that’s mucking up the works.

That’s entirely possible, unfortunately with that being a self-hosted blog we can’t look any deeper for you.
Which version of Jetpack are you running?

Oh, whoops.
Hm, would you happen to remember the title of the deleted post? It would help me track it down more quickly.
