Blog Stats “Best Day Ever”

I just created this Blog a few days ago and when I was checking the Blog Stats it show the Best Day Ever a Saturday September 23, 2006, this is one year and five months before the blog was created. Whats going on here?

I don’t really know, but maybe someone had your domain name before and the stat is from back then. I’m not 100% sure of that though

No, that’s not possible at WordPress.com. Sounds like you need to let staff know; some other people reported a similar error on a few blogs last week.

Mine was the same way, but it corrected itself after someone (other than myself) finally made a comment.

How does one contact staff about this problem? It’s still happening to me, but only on my home PC, my work PC shows everything correctly, consistently.
The problem hasn’t gone away after people started commenting, either.

On your home PC, while not logged in to wordpress, delete your cookies and empty your browser cache then close the browser and reopen it and log in and see if that helps. Sometimes it clears things up.

Maybe the date on the computer you’re using is dated for September 2006. I know my computer always goes back 3 hours, and it always shows a different time for me, until I change it at least.

When I delete cookies it works the first time, then goes back the next time until I delete cookies again.
The date on my PC is 3/17/2008 right now.
