blog stats by W3 counter has killed my site
-
Hi there:
I decided to activate a plug in that has been sitting unactivated on my site, and now I have a fatal error that looks like this:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: register_sidebar_widget() in /home/urant0/public_html/CarolSetters/wp-content/plugins/blog-stats-by-w3counter/w3counter.php on line 20Is there anyone out there who can help me? I deleted the file from my control panel from the server, but it didn’t make a difference.
Thanks
Carol

You should ask over at http://wordpress.org/support as we don’t deal with the guts here.
Good Luck!

I think here’s one relevant for this, so I’d copy here from ‘Off Topic’:
Something is wrong with stats, I have written a notice in my blog which will be deleted soon, but the issue is ping.sg actually registered 13 reads for a new test post for this issue, but WordPress stats doesn’t seem to reflect that, and the rise over the nigt is like much lesser than 13, and the read count for that test post is like virtually zero!
Now how can people know what you have posted and WordPress has no idea that people are loading the page to read? It’s highly strange, right?!
Can anyone explain this? Thanks!

I had recently changed servers and the admin panel was still coming up on the old server; naturlly stuff didn’t work because it didn’t live there anymore. Weird cause but it’s now resolved.
