Blog Stats for Email and RSS Subscribers
-
The WP Blog Stats page helpfully shows Email subscriber counts for blog and comments. Why can’t it do the same for RSS subscriptions to blog and comments? (I am not interested in obtaining e-mail addresses for RSS subscribers as is provided for Email subscribers – I am only interested in the count, which should be easier to provide.)

@mikegantt
Would you please post the URL for the blog to which you are referring starting with http:// -
However, timethief, I didn’t think my question was specific to my blog. I’m asking about what I think is a standard “Blog Stats” page.

Thank you. Is this the information your are looking for?
Subscription Statistics
Blog owners can see how many people are subscribed to their blog from the Blog Stats page: See> http://en.support.wordpress.com/blog-subscriptions/#subscription-statistics See also Subscription management http://en.support.wordpress.com/subscriptions/ -

The duplicate entry above was unintended.Note also that we Volunteers are required to request the blog URL each and every time a blogger posts to this forum. wordpress.com and wordpress.org run on different software and the answers to the questions posed are not necessarily the same as the software has different features. https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/please-read-me-first-before-posting?replies=1
By confirming whether or not the blogger has a wordpress.com blog or a wordpress.org install we can be sure we are providing the correct answers to questions posed. You can either post the URL each time or you can link your wordpress.com blog to your username as described in point 2. in this sticky post at the head of the forum https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/7-things-to-know-before-posting-in-wordpresscom-forums?replies=1

Unfortunately, no. The first link you give describes what I already know, and what I mentioned: that a count of Email subscriptions to your blog and comments is shown on the “Blog Stats” page.
The second link you give describes how you manage your own subscriptions to other blogs.
Neither link tells how to get a count of RSS subscribers. I did scour the forums before writing my query. The closest I could find was a discussion about how you can go to the graphs for your “Top Posts & Pages” and one by one look for the distinction between on-site views and syndicated views. I’m looking for something much simpler: a count of RSS subscribers right under the count of Email subscribers on the Blog Stats page. I’m surprised more people haven’t asked about this because if you care about how many people have signed up for your blog by Email, why wouldn’t you also want to know how many have signed up through the RSS alternative?

I’m sorry those entries didn’t answer your question. Perhaps Staff can answer it http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/

Thanks just the same, timethief. And, by the way, I did just now follow your instruction about about linking my name to my blog. Sorry I didn’t see this before originally posting. Thanks for trying.

Two more things: 1) I submitted my question to support per your suggestion; thanks. 2) I was on your blog extensively a few weeks ago. You provide an enormous amount of helpful information to bloggers (I’m a relative newbie) so thanks for all those resources. I have subscribed to you by RSS (but you probably wouldn’t know it since it doesn’t yet appear that WordPress.com gives its bloggers a count of their RSS subscribers ;)

I don’t use the wordpress.com subscriptions. I offer email subscriptions from Feedburner and I can view those on my Google webmasters account.

timethief, thought you might want to see the staff’s answer on this question:
“You’re right that we don’t provide such RSS stats at this time, I’ve added this to our regularly reviewed list.
Thanks,Hanni”
