Blog Stats Keep re-setting

  Why do my blog stats keep re-setting – I have 100’s that have visited then it goes down to about 30- what gives?

  Now it’s back and forth- sometimes 100’s then reverts back to the 30’s then back to the 100’s again. Anyone know why?

  the site you are linking to isn’t a blog hosted by wordpress.com, is it?

  Forgive my ignorance- hope this is the right answer you are looking for. It is my blog and when I sign in to wordpress and check my blog stats- they are constantly changing. It’s the total views, and views today- that keep changing.

  You are saying that http://www.specialdaydesign.ca/ is your blog?
  it doesn’t look like a blog on wordpress.com but maybe I am mistaken

  No- that is my website – my blog is http://specialdaydesign.wordpress.com/ it is here that the stats keep changing. I also looked under the manage heading, and it only shows 2 views for 2 different categories- since I started the blog.

  If you think your blog has a technical problem then note that volunteers answering forum questions do not have backend access to blogs. Only staff have such access and only staff can help you with this issue. Please wait until support opens tomorrow and send in a request for help by using the blue “Support” button located on the top right hand corner of any admin side blog page.

  P.S. If you did not choose a black square to be your avatar then the reason it is displaying as black is because you have used an image with transparency. In that case you need to upload another image without transparency. :)

  Geez, I should have come here sooner, however the avatar image is without transparency. It was taken with my camera and I just deleted the background. Thanks for all the advice. Very much appreciated.

  Everyone that has problems with the stats plugin for wordpress (ones hosted elsewhere as well) can also head over to http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/stats/ for more information on the plugin, issues and workarounds. Even some support ;)
