Blog Stats Problem

  I’ve been having a problem with my blogstats lately and I’m not sure why. Basically it started a few weeks ago when I edited something in my sidebar and header and afterwards all of a sudden my blogstats was telling me my site had like 7 page views for an entire day. The average is like 3,000.

  I thought maybe it was just a problem with the blog stats plugin, but the same data is being displayed for sites like google analytics and quantcast.

  The weird thing is that after maybe a week–everything went back to normal. Now it’s doing the same thing again–I’m assuming because yesterday I added meta tags to my header file.

  Anyone else experiencing something similar or know why this is happening or how to fix it?

  Is your blog a wordpress.com blog?
  If not then perhaps dealing with staff directly is the way to go because volunteers on this wordpress.com forum where we have no plugins cannot help you.
