Blog Stats & Subscribers

  • Unknown's avatar

    I have recently recreated my blog site from scratch to overcome some database issues. I did this using a second domain.

    The original and live domain is http://www.electricbluetesla.org

    The test domain is wave.yournewsite.co.uk

    There is two issues…

    1) The test site is dead and no longer needed. Please can you delete and remove the test site (hosted at wave.yournewsite.co.uk) entirely from My Blogs list.

    2) Now I have recreated the live site (hosted at http://www.electricbluetesla.org) I seem to have lost all stats and subscribers. Can you get them back for me please.

    To be honest, I am surprised and disappointed that I cannot remove blogs myself from My Blogs and disappointed that I cannot access my subscriber list through the web so that I could recreate this list myself.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there,

    Do you want your subscribers transferred from wave.yournewsite.co.uk to electricbluetesla.org?

    Just a note you have 1 email subscriber for wave.yournewsite.co.uk. If you would like that transferred please let me know. I have also merge your stats but just wanted to confirm this.

    I can remove: wave.yournewsite.co.uk from your account as well.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

    No I don’t want anything transferred from wave.yournewsite.co.uk thank you :-) I want that removed completely.

    The issue is that I had subscribers on electricbluetesla.org before but now they are gone. There weren’t many but I didn’t want to lose them. I deleted Jetpack and when I reconnected after rebuilding the site from scratch the subscribers and stats had reset to zero. I want to get back the subscribers and stats from before the rebuild.

    Can you help?

    @paulchurchley-

    I have removed wave.yournewsite.co.uk from your account.

    I have moved over your subscribers from your old Jetpack connected site to your new one, but note your old one only had 1 subscriber. That has been transferred.

    Thanks.

    @roxy2foxy-

    Did you import your site from a WordPress.com site? We can recover your blog posts from there if you did not permanently delete it. However, if you are talking about your WordPress.org site, you’ve reached support for the free sites hosted at WordPress.com.

    Because your site is self-hosted with a different provider, support staff at WordPress.com do not have access to your site’s files or the ability to provide support for your current issue.

    You can find support for your self-hosted WordPress site here:

    http://wordpress.org/support/

    http://codex.wordpress.org/

    You may also wish to contact your host’s support team for more assistance.

    Many, Many thanks. I must say that I was hoping we had more than one subscriber but that is fine. We know now.

    My data is not showing up in any format, on any browser when I try to access my dashboard. I have a completely blank screen except for a few items in left sideboard. None of those work either. I cannot access anything. 4-10-14
