"Blog Stats" Widget vs. Number on "Stats Page": A Little Confused

  I was wondering if I could get help understanding the “blog stats” widget vs. the number calculated on my stats page.

  When I look on my stats page, there is a particular number of “views”. However the widget displays a much lesser number. Should I be concerned? I would appreciate any clarifying information.
