blog stats widgets not showing up

  blog stats widgets not showing up; I’ve tried to add it to 4 areas of the blog with nothing showing up. One of the four areas (“below content”) showed up while I was adding it, but after saving it, the entire thing disappeared, but that one still shows up in the customize menu, but not on the blog. The other three I saved don’t even show up in the customize menu as being present. Help please, I am not an expert on this at all! Thanks
