Blog Stats/Views?

    I have a free wordpress.com blog and it shows my blog stats/views.

    I recently purchased a domain and domain mapping through wordpress; dl’ed wordpress.org and uploaded everything to my own hosting (since apparently wordpress doesn’t do the hosting for you)…can’t find my stats here on my new blog.

    So if you purchase a domain through wordpress, you don’t have access to stats/views through wordpress anymore?

    (yes I know you can do stats through your host) but it seems like a feature you shouldn’t lose just because you pay.

    There are stats in your .org global dashboard, but to have the familiar stats page back, you’ll need to install a plugin called WP stats.
