Blog still online

  I’ve had a blog for which i bought a DotCom-Adress via wordpress. I erased the blog, but unfortunately it’s still online with a different URL which i can’t erase or change or log in to.
  This is the URL: http://schafewoelfedotcom.wordpress.com/

  Please erase the blog immeadiately. Thanks!

  Hi schafewoelfe,

  To be sure I understand your question, is schafewoelfedotcom.wordpress.de the address you bought? If so, it is redirecting to your original address at schafewoelfedotcom.wordpress.com and they are the same blog. It may just take a couple of days for the new address to show up in your navigation bar instead of the original wordpress.com address.

  If that is not your question – if you did not buy a domain upgrade to change your address and you need help deleting your site, this support document might help you. A word of caution – deleting a site is irreversible. Once it has been deleted it cannot be recovered.

  No, no. I already erased the blog officially. If i log in with my account which used to be the admin account, i cant see that this blog still exists. Which is weird. i just want to shut it down already.
  but i cant change anything because officially thsi blog doesnt exist anymore.

  Ah, I see. Did you receive a confirmation email? If not, check your spam folder. Here are some other troubleshooting tips from the support page:

  Troubleshooting

  I didn’t receive the confirmation email.
  If you don’t get the confirmation email within one or two hours, please check your spam folder. If it’s not there, repeat the steps from the beginning, as sometimes emails go astray.

  I checked my spam folder and the confirmation email is not there.
  Make sure your email address is correct at Users → Personal Settings, under Account Details.

  I don’t have access to the email connected to my site profile.
  Update your email address at Users → Personal Settings, under Account Details. Make sure to finalize your address change by clicking the confirmation link in the email you’ll receive at the new address.

  Do any of those steps help?

  Unfortunately not. I got this confirmation Email. And the Main-URL is erased – that worked fine. But i cant log in on that site (because officially it doesn’t exist anymore), even though, obviously, it still does with a different URL. Bottom line: I can’t do anything and i still need help from someone who can push that red button for this blog.
