Blog still private despite changes!!
-
I don’t know if there is something I am doing wrong but after going through all the steps i could find to make my blog no longer private, it still comes up “Protected Blog” whenever a friend tries to view the page without being a member or logged in.
I have tried to find a separate Privacy page in the settings drop down in my dashboard but can’t find one and clicking on “Allow search engines to index this site” in the Reading section also makes no difference.
Am I missing something?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The blog is public and your friend needs to clear her/his browser cache and cookies. http://www.google.com/support/accounts/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=32050
re: front page error message
Nothing Found It seems we can’t find what you’re looking for. Perhaps searching can help.
You deleted the placeholder Hello World post and as soon as you publish a post not a page and the error message will be gone. http://en.support.wordpress.com/post-vs-page/
By default the front page of your blog displays all posts (not pages) in reverse chronological order, with the most recently published post on top. The 404 (page not found) error message on the front page of the blog appeared because the Admin of the blog deleted the placeholder Hello World post. http://en.support.wordpress.com/not-found/
