Blog subscribers don't receive Email

    Hi,
    sorry if i might ask questions, that probably have already been answered hundreds of times. I am pretty new to WordPress.com and so far, everything was working fine. Blog is set up now and here and then i even get a follower. But for some reason since the last few days there don’t seem to be any automated emails being sent out, when i post something. I am not aware of having changed any settings, but then who know’s.

    Please can someone give me some advice. For your info, i am currently using WordPress.com and not .org. Only just learnt about the differences. And once i am able to move my domain (after 60 days) i will do so and set up wordpress.org.

    In the meanwhile, is there any way to easily fix the email situation, so that followers receive a prompt when a new post has been published?

    Hello there,
    I’ll tag this thread for Staff assistance. Will you please provide a couple of usernames for those WordPress.com bloggers who did not receive the emails as well as a couple of email addresses for those who do not have WordPress.com accounts The software will redact ie. HIDE the email addresses so only Staff can see them. After you do that subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting.

    Hi timethief, thanks for your reply.
    As my blog is quite new i didnt have any wordpress.com bloggers that followed me when i sent my last post (Monday morning, UTC+2).

    But i have subscribed with my own private email, also did friends of me, non of them received anything. It did work at the beginning, but the last two posts havent come through via email :(

    The email addresses are: (email visible only to moderators and staff), (email visible only to moderators and staff) and (email visible only to moderators and staff)

    Hi there! I do see active subscriptions for all three of those users. Can you confirm that you’re creating completely new posts to publish? As opposed to updating previously published posts?

    It looks like this is the only post you’ve published since these three subscribed to your site:

    Rhabarber, Rhabarber ohne Wenn und Aber?

    And according to the revisions on the post, you started writing it about two weeks ago:

    Hi there,
    yes i can confirm, that i published completely new posts (at least i am not aware, having published any of them accidentally before).

    There are two posts, where it happened. As i subscribed to my own blog myself to see what happens i noticed it straight away. i did receive emails before, but first post where i didnt receive anything was: http://mehrpoweraufdauer.com/2015/05/29/ein-tasschen-tee-am-morgen-vertreibt-stoffwechselsorgen/ and because i am quite new with everything, i pressumed i changed some settings. so i unsubscribed with my email and re-subscribed again (both with viola.fuchs@).

    Meanwhile i got two followers (wohoo), and i published http://mehrpoweraufdauer.com/2015/06/02/rhabarber/, but still neither I nor the others received anything.

    Did i accidentally changed settings or do you know what the trouble is? thanks so much. i really appreciate that you are looking in to this.

    Thanks for the confirmation! I’m going to follow your site and set up instant emails.

    Would you mind publishing a post sometime soon? If you already have one ready, that’s great! If not, could you publish a quick test post? This way I can dig into my own subscription settings and investigate some more.

    Thanks so much. I have just posted a new post and of course i have now received an email notification. Murphy’s law? :) I have not changed any settings, so even though i am glad to see, this one worked, i am bit confused as to why it suddenly works. Its seems a bit hit and miss to me, or has anything changed at all?

    That’s odd! It doesn’t look like anything else has changed. Hopefully this continues to work going forward. If you fail to receive a new post notification again, please let us know!

    Hello, I have same problem. I have 18 e-mail follower, but one of them don’t receive e-mail notification. She does receive irregularly. For example, she received 2 out of last 4 blog post notification.

    It would be great if you could help me out on this.

    Hi vjs2015gr1, please start a new forum thread with your question. In your new thread, please include the email address of the follower who isn’t receiving email notifications so we can investigate that. Thanks!
