  Hello. I am feeling very stupid but I can’t for the life of me figure out how to put your blog subscription feature on my site. Please advise. Thank you, scotty

  Thanks for responding. I got the blog subscription check box up but it has disappeared again, so I think I’m giving up!

  Hi Scotty,

  I see your follow blog widget in your sidebar. If you’re signed into your WordPress.com account, it’ll only display the Subscribe button.

  If you sign out from the main menu, then view your blog again, that widget will display a field to enter an email address and the Subscribe button.

  Hi. I have just logged into my blog and there is still not the box to check for email subscriptions. I also thought it was interesting that when I searched for Travels with Aphrodite on the wordpress site, various blog came up with the name Aphrodite but not mine.

  The search is a content search, so you won’t be able to find your blog if you search by name.

  As for the email widget, it’s definitely working. Non-WordPress.com users will be subscribed via email. WordPress.com users will be subscribed via the Reader and have the option to turn that into an email subscription via their subscription settings.
