Blog Subscription formatting

I have a link on my blog to subscribe via email. Works great. (NOT feedburner, it’s the WP one)
Problem is that the formatting on the email distribution is non-existant. Example, I double space between paragraphs to make it easy on the eyes. In the subscription, it’s all piled together and you can barely tell where one paragraph ends and the next starts. Many of my readers review the blog via email and this looks very unprofessional. Is there a trick? Is it my theme?
Advice would be greatly appreciated.

It’s not your theme and I’m afraid we cannot help you here. The formatting of emails needs to be suitable for the majority of email clients and site content. Please send your feedback into Staff by using this link > http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/

please confirm that I’m understanding your response correctly: what you’re saying is that the email WP sends out needs to work well on gmail, yahoo, hotmail, etc. and what I see in (for example) yahoo may be messy but what another person gets in gmail might look good? I’m just trying to make sure I understand. Thanks!

It also depends on the email client or whether you are looking at it online (webmail). Your posts look fine as does your RSS feed, so I don’t think there is a problem.
Contact staff though and see what they say.
