Blog Subscription Frequency Default

  Is there a way to change the default frequency of emails received when a visitor subscribes to my blog. The default is immediately but most people would rather receive notifications either daily or weekly so I was wondering if the default can be changed.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  That is something that each subscriber can set for themselves in their Subscription control panel. If they do not have a WordPress.com account, they can manage their subscription settings through the links in the email they received when they subscribed.
