  When readers attempt to sign up for my blog, they are told this email address does not accept subscriptions

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi –

  There are several ways for folks to follow your blog.

  Those with a WordPress.com user account can follow your site by clicking the little +… icon in the bottom right corner that they’ll see when they are signed in to their account and viewing your site.

  The other option is that they can find your site in their Reader and follow it there.

  You can add a Follow Blog Widget which lets people sign up to follow along via their email account instead of a WordPress.com user account.

  I have a follow blog widget, and it was all working fine till about a week ago. Now if they do have a WordPress account, when they click on the “confirm” button it tells them their email account is not connected to their WordPress account. If they don’t have WordPress, they get the email with the confirm button, and when they click on it it looks like everything is fine, but they never get added to the list of subscribers.

  The Follow Blog Widget is not set up on judyaknox.wordpress.com. You can add it by going to My Sites > Customize > Widgets > Add

  We are happy to help your users sort this out. It’d be best for them to contact us directly from their accounts. Feel free to give them the link to this thread and they can post a comment here.
