blog subscriptions or email subscriptions

    Hello again,
    sorry for my rookie question, but what is the difference btw blog subscriptions and email subscriptions.
    I have enabled both in my blog http://clubmicrofinanzas.wordpress.com/, blog subsc. with the blog widget, and email subscriptions with feedburner.

    However they both seem to provide the same function? Which one is more adequate if I just want to send out an email to subscribers when I have posted a new post on my webpage? I would also like to see the email address of those who have subscribed to my mailing, which of the widget or feedburner allows for that?

    In what section of WP (for blog subs. widget) or feedburner do I edit the outgoing email to subscribers?

    They are indeed the same thing. But there’s also RSS:

    And in no case can you edit the automated email to subscribers.
