“BLog Subscriptions” (wp.com) on a WP Page

OK, I already posted following question yesterday. I had to notice that the posting disappeared into the nirwana of cyberspace ? How ?
    ———————–
My question is simple: Can I create a WP page (on wordpress.com) where I offer subscribe/unsubscribe for the “Blog Subscription” widget (this one : http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/blog-subscription-widget/ ).

Maybe its possible to take a code line and put it on a page so users can subscribe there. It makes sense to position the Newsletter feature on a WP blog site much more visible. Actually I only have this function in the right side navigation bar ( http://imcradiodotnet.wordpress.com ) and its not very good visible within all the other widgets…

I ask this because there exist for wordpress.org a good widget, you can implement not only in the navigation bar, but same on a WP page (like this: http://bit.ly/9lVVl4 ). Such a page URL would be very helpful to set a direct link on other sites, e.g. from MySpace profile or Facebook fan page.

I have not found any discussion here on the support forum about this important aspect. Tks so fare, hope somebody has an idea how to implement the blog subscription on a WP page.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The answer is: no. The “subscribe by email” link is not one you can put in the normal text of a page or post; it exists only in the widget. Numerous people have asked for this.

You could make the widget more noticeable by placing the widget at the top of the side bar instead of mid way down like it is now…

Also in the discussion settings there is a option to active blog subscription via email at the bottom of the comment field for each post you have on your blog… Discussion Settings
