Hello! I am having an issue with the layout of my blog. My website http://www.alysonmarievisuals.com is hosted through Showit, but my blog is hosted through wordpress and I can’t find an answer to my question anywhere on the forums. My blog is working great, but when I upload a gallery, there’s a bunch of spacing between images (typically if one image is bigger than the other it will leave a big gap of space) so it makes my blog post look really inconsistent. Is there a way or any tricks to change the layout of the gallery?

Hello! I’d be happy to help you with your issue. It sounds like you’re experiencing some inconsistencies in the layout of your blog post gallery, which can be frustrating. There are a few different ways you might be able to adjust the layout of your gallery to make it look more consistent.

One option is to use a gallery plugin that allows you to customize the layout and spacing of your images. There are many different gallery plugins available for WordPress, so you might want to do some research to find one that meets your needs. Some popular options include NextGEN Gallery, Envira Gallery, and FooGallery.

Another option is to adjust the settings for the default WordPress gallery. When you insert a gallery into a blog post, you should see a “Gallery Settings” box on the right side of the screen. From there, you can adjust settings like the number of columns, image size, and spacing between images. You might need to experiment with different settings to find the one that works best for your specific images.

If you’re comfortable with CSS, you might also be able to adjust the spacing of your gallery using custom code. To do this, you’ll need to find the CSS class or ID that’s applied to your gallery and add some custom CSS code to adjust the spacing. If you’re not familiar with CSS, this option might be a bit more challenging.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any further questions or if there’s anything else I can do to assist you.
