Blog surfer/ follow this blog

    What has happened to the ‘follow this blog’ button, which I think used to appear in the ‘blog info’ drop down menu at the top of the screen and which added blogs to the ‘blog surfer’ feed on my dashboard?

    How do I now add blogs to the ‘blog surfer’?

    And, while I am at it, is there any way to remove blogs from the ‘blog surfer’?

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    You can add blogs from your Dashboard > Blog Surfer. Enter the blog URL in the box next to “Add” button and click the button.

    To delete a blog, look under “Public Blogs” on the above page. You’ll see the blog names you’re subscribing, and you can click [x] next to it to delete.

    Ah but you see when I click on the [x] the blog doesn’t disappear. Never has.

    Thanks for the info about adding new blogs though. It’s a shame about the ‘follow’ button though.

    The delete in the blog surfer has been sort of flakey in my experience. I’ve had times when I couldn’t delete them either. Not sure why that is.

    Sorry about the problem with that button. Please contact us if you’re having any difficulty deleting your subscriptions from Blog Surfer.

    I too am wondering why there is no “Follow This Blog” button on the main toolbar when I’m on an interesting looking blog. It’s a real pain in the ass to copy the blog’s URL, navigate to my blog surfer, add the new blog, and then return back to the blog I was reading to check out some more. It really can’t be that hard to have a menu option “Follow This Blog” that auto-adds that blog to your blog surfer. Is this planned? Do you just need enough people to request it? I’ve got a whole slew of people that are coming over from Vox that would absolutely require this button.

    There was a “follow this blog” button that was being tested. It appeared for a short period of time on some blogs only.     Blogspot blogs have the ability to not only let their viewers subscribe, but follow it as well. WordPress really needs to make this available to its bloggers. If it does, and I’m obviously not aware of it, will someone point me in the right direction? It’s an app I’d love to include in my sidebar.
