Blog Suspended for Violating Terms of Service

  My blog at rebeccamigibson.wordpress.com was suspended on December 17th, and as of today December 23rd, I still haven’t heard any word from the WordPress Support team as to why my blog was taken down even though I have filled out the form to contact them. I don’t believe I have violated the terms, and if so it seems like it might be due to a bad link that could be removed or something like that.

  Has anyone dealt with this, or know how to rectify the situation?

  These issues are not discussed on public peer support forums. Mistakes can be made but as a policy, we are asked to refrain from discussing Terms of Service issues on these public forums. You have a warning notice with a link — please click that link as it works at all times (even when the regular contact form is closed).

  Hi all,
  Thanks so much for your responses! I received a message from the support team and was notified that my blog was accidentally marked as spam and the blog has been restored.

  Trying to work with Lisa now to try to determine what was spam so that I won’t have this issue in the future!

  By default the front page of the blog is the only page that will display all published posts on it. As soon as you publish a post not a page the error message found on the front page of every new WordPress.COM blog will be gone. http://en.support.wordpress.com/post-vs-page/
