I’m sure they’ll let you edit it once they check email. It’s only 7am where the support person is right now, so give him some time and I’m sure he’ll look into it; he started this thread, so obviously he’s involved.

I’m thinking it’s a bug, because I seem to recall that it’s blogs, not accounts, that get suspended.

thanks raincoaster… im really worried :( my blog is my life.. i usually blog if i’m bored. hopefully they’ll find my email and let me know whats the real score. :( I’ve been waiting for them since morning.. its already afternoon here in the philippines.

You may lose the new blog, or you may be given the choice to adapt and edit it instead, but I do believe from past experience with other users that your personal blog access will be restored. I know it’s worrying, but I have seen issues like this solved many times. It’s just hard to be patient, I know.

In the meantime, you can take a leaf out of Timethief’s book and download Blogdesk or some other offline blog editor and then you can write and categorize your posts on your computer and then upload them whenever you get access again. This, even, makes good blog fodder.

rescuetime.wordpress.com had this issue today… Halp! :-)

I emailed support@wordpress.com tonight and was told by a fellow named Hailin that I was in breach of the ToS. I’m *hoping* that he’s just not aware of the bug going around… This blog is just a product blog for http://www.rescuetime.com ( a free time management web service)– there are no commercial aspirations and it gets VERY little traffic.

You’ll have to talk that out with staff, but I’m sure Hailin is fully aware of the suspensions bug. Volunteers here in the forums have nothing to do with policies and such.

May I know what terms and agreement the esoriano blog violated?

but I still cannot access the blog.
I can access any blog from wordpress and other
blogs from other host sites, except the esoriano blog.
I am trying to access it until this moment that I am writing this.

It’s going to require staff to get it straightened out since it will require back end access. Hopefully they will get it straightened out soon.

i checked again http://esoriano.wordpress.com/ and other wordpress.com blogs i frequently visit and it’s again inaccessible (*suspended?).

i just hope the admins can fix this things, a.s.a.p.

Please resolve ASAP. I use that blog to look for work! I don’t want my potential customers and employers asking me which terms of service I’ve violated. Not cool and totally uncalled for. I will move to Blogger if I have to.

Could you please investigate the suspension of successfulsoftware.wordpress.com . It is managed by a business associate of mine, who believes he was bitten by this bug. He is otherwise unaware of any possible TOS violations that would have warranted account suspension.
