Blog template and excrpts

  Startling with a ‘page’ from the theme template that shows ‘blog’ I ended up with two ‘excerpts’ with links to the oldest two posts on a ‘posts’ page. That is all good. How do I add two more so it picks up and exerpts, with links, the first four posts on the on the posts page?

  Can I also add a menu widgit in the sidebar that would also link, using the first line of the item on the post page?

  What the site address (URL)? The answer depends upon the theme activated on the site.

  Thanks for that info. The number of posts displayed in a blog posts block is determined by the “Number of items” setting at Display Settings in the block. See the Display Settings section of the Blog Posts Block support page for relevant information and illustration.

  Do you mean the first line of the post content, or the post title? If the latter, then the Recent Posts Widget might be what you’re looking for.
