  How do I get the Blog text to stay displayed, without clicking on the Sidebar “Recent Posts” or “Recent Comments”? Looking at other Blog sites, the “replies” from visitors is always on display.

  Comments are not displayed on the front page of a blog at Wp.com with the exception of the P2 theme, I believe. You could change to that theme, but that’s your only option. The comments on WP.com will display on each post, but not on the front page of the blog; this is so that your blog is more readable.
