Blog text not showing up, only images

Hi, we have set up a family blog and all seemed to be fine at first, but now when I visit, only the pictures are showing, not the blog texts. I can see details of blog posts if I go into the dashboard, but nothing is showing up on the blog page itself. I have cleared my browser cache and history but this hasn’t helped.
I recently changed the blog to Private so only our family members can view it. At the moment we are all logging on with the same administrator details.

I took a look and everything is working properly.
Can you please try clearing out your browser cache?
Do you also encounter this issue in a different browser? for example Internet Explorer or Google Chrome?

I tried clearing everything (history, cookies etc.) before I asked the question, but this didn’t make any difference. I’m now in Internet Explorer rather than Firefox, so this browser has absolutely no history of me using WordPress – and the same thing is happening.
The blog is appearing as a white background with just the photos. No text, no titles apart from the Blog name at the top of the page.

Do you also encounter this on a different computer?
Could you send us a screenshot of the page where you’re seeing this? You can upload the screenshot to your blog’s media library.

This is a bug. I’ve just reported this to our theme developers. I’ll contact you once it has been resolved.

Thanks for your help so far. Any news on this? Still nothing showing up, and it wasn’t immediately apparent what I could do to remedy that via your link.
I would have got back to you sooner but frankly I’m not finding this site easy to navigate! I suspect our family blog is going to be underused because of this, and we’ll need to look at other options. I’m going to start another thread on that though…

Hi there, I too am having a similar issue on my blog fashioneyesta.com. The images are loading up but not the text. I currently use a theme called ThemeMin which was working fine up until last night and now the text is not showing. I have done everything I can think of but still nothing. It is really important that I get this issue resolved as my blog is supported by a charity radio and it is for blind and partially sighted people.
Would anyone be able to advise me on this -
I’m having the same issue on my blog as well. The text is there in edit and when I go to change the background colours it shows up fine in a contrast colour but on the live blog it’s invisible unless you highlight the space where it should be. It’s a HUGE problem as I’ve just sent the link to the blog to a potential client and they won’t be able to read it.

Follow the steps below:
1: Go to the Customizer at ‘Appearance’ -> ‘Customize’ in your blog’s dashboard
2: Click on CSS
3: Add the code below to the CSS editor and then click on the [Save] button.
body { color: inherit; } -
The ghostly text still persists here on http://mikeosbornphoto.com (Customised Nishita).
I won’t be publishing any new posts until it’s fixed. Waiting patiently :-)

I tried the CSS fix and with no success (possibly because of my coding ineptitude). Another user advised me not to tinker until the source problem has been remedied.

An update was deployed last night which resolved the issue for some users, but I can see that your blog is still affected. We’ll continue to work on resolving this issue.

I thought of manually changing the colour of my body text across the entire blog to make it show up more clearly, but would rather sit tight for another fix!
