Blog that's not mine listed as my own
-
This is an unusual one so bear with me,
I have an auto website that I run with some friends. The initial setup was done with a former partner years ago. We’ve since amicably parted ways and I’ve continued the site work, having everything transferred to my control.
I made this user name a while back exclusively for my site for the sake of stat tracking and rarely log in to wordpress.com for anything. I did so and noticed that I have two blogs:
Auto-kinesis.com and tflcar.com
I have no association with tflcar.com and from their about page, neither does anyone I’ve formally worked with (not that they would have the login for this username as I created it after my association with them).
I’m confused as to how I’d have a blog I have nothing to do with connected to my user name but I’m more concerned with just removing it entirely. My issue is I don’t know how and I also don’t want to cause them any issues doing so.
To be clear this is isn’t a blog I follow ( I don’t follow any), its listed under “my sites.” It’s not mine! lol
Any suggestions on its removal would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Hi there,
So it looks like they are self-hosted, WordPress.org sites. To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different entities. At WordPress.com, we provide hosting, support, and tons of features for blogs. Users also have the option to purchase a variety of upgrades to customize the look and feel of their blog. WordPress.org is a software for self-hosted sites. With WordPress.org, users are provided access to all backend files and can upload custom themes and plugins.
Check here to learn more about the difference between WordPress.com and WordPress.org:
So for that to have been added to your account, they would have needed access to it, so it may be a good idea to speak to your partner or anyone who may have had access to this account regarding this.
It looks like the registrant of the domain: AUTO-KINESIS.COM is:
Alexander Kalogianni
https://who.wildwestdomains.com/whoisstd.aspx?domain=auto-kinesis.com&prog_id=wildwestdomains
and the registrant of the domain: TFLCAR.COM is:
Roman Mica
https://who.wildwestdomains.com/whoisstd.aspx?domain=tflcar.com&prog_id=wildwestdomains
If you look into the links I provided you, you may be able to contact them and see what happened.

Thank you both for responding.
I’m Alex and AutoKinesis is my site, and I do use wordpress.org software on there.
Mr. Mica isn’t someone I know, and their “about” page doesn’t list any of the people I used to work with when we set up AK.
I don’t *think* we can affect each other’s sites/look at any stat data, and I’m perfectly fine leaving things alone if that’s the case. I’m just not sure how this could have happened as I made this user name for my site for the stat tracking without any involvement with others.
Anyway, I could speculate for ages, but the point is can I get TFLCARS.COM removed from “my sites” somehow? And will doing so impact some total strangers?
