Blog theme not showing blog posts

    Hi there,

    I’m using the Astra theme and have just installed a starter template. However, the blog page doesn’t show my blogs. The homepage also has a section where it should show my most recent blogs but they’re not displaying there either.

    I’ve gone into the settings and set the homepage as a static page and set the blog page as my post page, but it hasn’t fixed the issue.

    Can you help please?

    Can you tell us the address of the site you’re referring to?

    Generally speaking, if your question is specific to the theme, you’d need to reach out to theme support for help. For Astra, you can reach out to their support team here: https://wpastra.com/support/

    Thankyou aisajib. I’ve reached out to the Astra support team.

    The address of my blog is https://hairtransplantresource.com/. The blogs are not appearing on the blog page. There’s also a section on the homepage called ‘Recent Blog Post’. The recent blogs are not appearing over there either.

    To check, are there blogs published on the site?

    You may need to set a posts page via Appearance > Customize > Homepage Settings.

    There’s also a section on the homepage called ‘Recent Blog Post’. The recent blogs are not appearing over there either.

    It looks like you may need to add a post block to that part of the page: https://elementor.com/help/posts-widget-pro/

    Hi Aleone89,

    Yes, I have some published blogs. Now my blogs are appearing on the blog page, but the theme of the blog does not appear.

    When I was choosing my theme, I had the option to use Elementor, Gutenberg, Beaver Builder and Brizy. I chose Gutenberg, so I’m not sure if I’ll need an Elementor widget?

    Hi there,

    You can always use the latest post block to add your posts:

    https://wordpress.org/support/article/latest-posts-block/

    In regards to using Elementor, it doesn’t appear you will need the plugin. However, with this particular theme, if you need additional assistance, I’d definitely touch base Astra support because as the developers, they can provide you with the best suggestions on how to set up the site.
