Blog / Theme tag line

New here (and thanks for any help).

I tried out two themes, Digg 3 Column and Rubric, and with both I’ve been unable to get any text (except for the blog name) to show up in the banner.

I’ve located an “options” page, where the Blog Name is entered, followed by a tag line. I thought the tag line would appear below the name in smaller font. In fact, it does appear when I upload a picture to be the background of the banner.

But that clever tag line is not appearing on the blog itself. All my cleverness is invisible!

    What am I missing, please!

Some themes, by design, do not display the tag line. Theme preview will show you which ones do, if you decide to change your theme.

    Ellaella, thanks.
I was a bit mis-led into thinking that the tag line was supported by the theme, because I could see it in preview when a background graphic was added.

I found a very similar theme that supports tag lines, so I’m marking this “resolved”.
    Thanks.
