Blog title available but won’t let me create blog!

  I’ve searched through the WordPress blogs to see if a particular blog name already exists. It comes back with zero results then WordPress offers for me to create the blog. I complete all the details then submit BUT WordPress tells me this blog name is already taken. Uh?

  So is it taken or is it not! I just can’t create the blog and I’ve even entered the http://blogname.wordpress.com title and it still comes back as not taken.

  What can I do?

  Anyone had same experience?

  How about you tell us what the blog name is that you are trying to register?

  If it says it’s taken, it’s taken. The search is not to be trusted (just tried my own two blogs: search found none of the two).
