Blog Title is correct. I changed URL from username.wordpress.com

    I am just setting up my Blog. I have 2 posts, but with the original URL the blog would not come up with a Title search, but references would come up, such as About|wayfaring journeys … this would then bring up the site with the page “About.” I changed the URL to the Blog Title – wayfaringjourneys.wordpress.com – now when I search the internet, the picture from Gravatar (sp) comes up with a Not Found msg. On Word Press all good, I can edit, not tried a post. I have tried to allow more third party access on google.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi, I’m not sure I follow your question but I understand you’re having problems trying to find your blog when searching on Google. Check out this information:

    WordPress.com automatically sends notifications to Google with every post and page update. The search engines can take 4-6 weeks or more to add any new sites. Connecting a Google account with verified site ownership through Google’s webmaster tools may help register your site for inclusion. Please contact Google for more information.

    Hi Caeladoria
    I have been on Google and they say the Blog is verified. I did a test on their site and this is what came up: Node is empty. Double check that this is desired and consider removing
    There was a 1 message on each of the 2 postings.

    On Google is it safe to delete the original URL: tantaloncastle.wordpress.com
    Both URL’s have the same Blog Title: Wayfaring Journeys …..Thx

    4 – 6 weeks seems like a long time? Is this what Google refers to as a crawl?

    Hey Bonnie,

    Your site is popping up upon google searches. It’s not as high up as more established sites yet, but it certain can rise in visibility. Here is some information about drawing more eyes to your WordPress.com site:

    Also, Carla is absolutely right. It can take up to 6 weeks for Google to index new content. The more content you add when you post, the more visible your site will become in the long run, as the new content will give Google more to index.
