Blog title problem

    Hello,

I have just started blogging on wordpress and I am having an issue with my blog title. I am using a free theme, Manifest, and I would like to use an image in the header of my blog rather then the font provided in the theme. I have been able to add an image successfully to the blog header however I cannot enter the blog title in the general settings section without having text appearing over our heading image/logo. In the future I would like to have the blog titled so that it can be googled. I noticed that you can buy upgrades through wordpress to access additional typefaces etc, would such an upgrade give me more control over the header in this template?

    Thank you,
    Katy

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Yes, the Custom Design allows you to modify the appearance of any element, which includes hiding the element.
You could also switch to a different theme: on many themes, hiding the blog title and tagline is available as a free option in Appearance > Header. See this post of mine:

But note that the newest themes aren’t included in the list (see the red note in my sidebar).
