Blog Title Refusing To Change Colour
-
Hi,
This is my blog:
http://nking.namescotraining.co.uk/
I want to change the text ‘Unusual Getaways’ ONLY to #FFA200. It’s refusing. Here is my attempt:
/* Header */
#header h1 {
font-family: ‘Quicksand’, ‘Meiryo’, ‘Hiragino Kaku Gothic Pro’, sans-serif; font-size: 3.5em; font-weight: bold; font-style: italic; letter-spacing: 3px; color: #FFA200 !important;
}As you can see, it’s turned bold, italic and has accepted the wider spacing, but won’t change the colour, even with the last-ditch important tag.
The theme is Blanc.

Hi @king1, it looks like you are using WordPress but you are not hosted here at WordPress.com. For self-hosted WordPress sites such as yours, I would suggest asking for help from the theme author directly or ask in the volunteer-based WordPress.org Themes and Templates forum.

I did take a quick peek at your site, and used the web inspector in my browser to see that the color for the site title is set here:
#header a { color: #7a7e82; }
