blog title won’t change

I love WordPress. My original WP blog was a trial run, but I’ve decided I want to move all my stuff over to here. Which means creating another blog to put the original content of my first WP blog onto, as my original URL is better suited to my main blog. (With me so far?)
The original blog was called “The Long Road Home”, and the url was <jopre.wordpress.com>.
I’ve created a new blog, and transferred the data across to it. It is (temporarily) called “The Road Home”, and the url is <haibunjopre.wordpress.com>.My plan was to rename the old blog (“A Dark, Feathered Art”) to reflect it’s new purpose, and delete all the old files from it, ready to start afresh. Settings, general, name change, save. Done.
Except it won’t change the name. In tab in the top of the menubar, it still shows the old title (The Long Road Home). Ditto when I select “all my blogs” – the dropdown menu has the old name, no sign of the new.
I’ve tried using both Safari and Firefox, in case it’s just a browser thing. No difference.
Help?

I think he means the tab in the options menu isn’t changing. Not the actual source code.

Just to make sure – when you changed the settings for the blog (the one whose name you’re trying to change), you did click the Save Changes button on the General Settings page? (I have to scroll down on my system to find it, so it’s easy to miss.)
